  • This year, the VP of Finance will work closely with the Executive Vice-President and the executive Internal Affairs team to ensure the long-term financial stability of the association.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for creating budgets for association events, and updating/editing budgets accordingly upon consulting with the President and Executive Vice-President.

    • In charge of submitting budget proposals and applications for funding to the Concordia Student Union and other independent councils at Concordia, and signing off on reimbursements/payments made to external companies or to association executives.

    • Tracks association expenses incurred by members, as well as documented invoices for reimbursement.

  • As VP Marketing you will be responsible for CFBA's marketing and branding strategies. You will work with the marketing team to develop content and all marketing collaterals.

    Responsibilities: ​

    • Coordinate of the Marketing Calendar

    • Development of Branding and marketing strategy

    • Assist in the design of marketing material

    • Create marketing content such as Newsletters and Survey forms

    • Work with VP Finance for marketing budget and expenses

    • Work with Business Relations for promotion of events and sponsorship packages

    • Support Marketing team with weekly check ups

    This position is for you if you:

    • Have excellent time management skills

    • Are comfortable with managing several projects at once

    • Are social media Savvy

    • Have strong writing skills

    • Are familiar with Photoshop or proficient in Canva

    • Can take a leader role

    • Know to delegate tasks accordingly

  • As Director of Marking, you will work with the marketing team to deliver marketing content. You help create the marketing calendar and create written content for social media posts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and develop content for online platforms

    • Write captivating captions and adapt posts to different social media platforms

    • Assist in the development of marketing and brand strategy

    • Assist in the design of marketing material

    • Monitor social media content and analytics

    This position is for you if you:

    • Have excellent time management skills

    • Have strong writing skills

    • Are comfortable with managing several projects at once

    • Are a team-player

    • Are social media Savvy

    • Are familiar with Photoshop or proficient in Canva

  • As Director of Graphic Design you will be responsible for all visual content and graphic creation.

    Being an art or design student is not required for this position, but a portfolio or examples of your work are needed *

    Responsibilities:

    • Insure that the CFBA’s image is cohesive across all platforms

    • Create all visual materials for the association

    • Assist the marketing team in various tasks

    • Assist in marketing and branding strategy

    This job is for you if you:

    • Are very creative

    • Have graphic design experience

    • Are proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign or Canva

    • Are comfortable using Squarespace

    • Are independent

    • Are able to take initiative and propose new ideas

    • Can work in groups and coordinate content with other people

    • Can work cohesively with the brand image

    • Can work with tight deadlines

  • As the team’s content creator, you will be in charge of creating the CFBA’s video and photography content and will work closely with the marketing team. This includes Tiktok videos, Instagram reels or Youtube videos.

    Responsibilities: ​

    • Brainstorm and come up with video ideas

    • Contact and coordinate filming time and location

    • Prepare shooting overview/schedule for filming or photography

    • Direct subjects and/or shots during the shoot

    • Film, interview and edit videos and photos

    • Post videos to Youtube and create captions for social media platforms

    This position is for you if you:

    • Have video montage and photo editing skills

    • Are capable of using editing software such as adobe premier or other

    • Are strongly creative

    • Are social media and trend savvy

    • Are comfortable with using equipment such as DSLR camera

      Filming and editing on iPhone is also an option as long as content quality is optimal *

    • Are able to work in a team

    • Are organized

    • Are able to delegate

The Business Relations team actively contributes to the growth of the association and helps bring opportunities in the Fashion World to the students.

    As Director of Business Relations, you will work with the VP Business Relations to find sponsorships, speakers and create partnerships with companies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Find sponsors and speakers

    • Creating sponsorship packages

    • Attending external events to promote CFBA and build relationships

    • Answering any and all concerns regarding a partnership

    • Working with other executives to make sure that speakers are on theme and we meet financial needs

    This position is for you if you:

    • Have great written communication skills

    • Have excellent time management skills

    • Have professional connections in the fashion industry

    • Outgoing and professional

    This position is not for you if:

    • Have an inflexible schedule

    • You are unreachable during all business hours

    • You are hard to reach and rarely check emails

    • Are not comfortable with writing to industry professionals

  • As VP Events, you will take the lead with organizing all of the association’s events, booking venues, coordinating catering and planning decorations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Organizing events such as networking cocktails and conferences

    • Brainstorm and create ideas for events

    • Contact brands to partner/work with for CFBA events

    • Finding and booking a caterer

    • Plan venue décor

    • Take phone or in-person meetings

    • Work with VP Internal to coordinate event logistics

    • Work with VP Finance for quotes and event budgets

    • Work alongside Business Relations and Presidents

    • Support Events team with weekly check ups

    This position is for you if you:

    • Are passionate about event planning

    • Are creative

    • Can lead a team

    • Great time management skills

    • Have strong problem-solving skills
