FASHION CONVERSATION: THE THIRD CHAPTER

FASHION CONVERSATION: THE SECOND CHAPTER

For its third edition,  the only fashion-oriented conference event at Concordia is dedicated to helping students learn about career opportunities in Montreal’s fashion industry. The event featured a keynote speaker, a panel discussion, workshops on various topics and a networking cocktail with recruiting companies.

For a second year, students will have the chance to select workshops that spark their interests. Workshops will cover various topics related to the fashion industry, as well as succeeding  and paving ones path in this saturated business. In addition to the workshops, this event will be a great opportunity to meet with recruiters and score amazing internships. And lastly, this will be an opportunity to mingle with the current executive team,  just in time for recruitment season.

WEST ISLAND WOMEN'S SHELTER

At the height of the pandemic, The CFBA had the chance to collaborate with The West Island Women's Shelter to bring care packages filled with items from Montreal-based brands to local women. With the help of brands such as Coup de pouce, Clin d'oeil, Bruush, Ima Wrap and Sheertex, we were able to bring a little joy to the community.

FASHION CONVERSATIONS: THE FIRST CHAPTER

Echoes of Fashion was the only fashion-oriented sustainability event at the John Molson School of Business, hosted by the CFBA, JSEC and Enactus Concordia.

This event  was  a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability and conscious consumption. The event featured a panel discussion and a workshop, followed by a networking cocktail and marketplace. During the marketplace,  an exclusive look at The Nu Collection was offered, which leverages the talent of nine amazing artists by displaying their unique art on sustainably sourced t-shirts.
